Angel Investing
ELP represents angel investors and entrepreneurs looking for funding beyond that supplied by friends and family. It is ELP's mission to connect bright, passionate men and women who are growing a business with high net-worth individuals, who enjoy the thrill and excitement of bringing ideas to the market.
As counsel for the start up, ELP assists entrepreneurs in making presentations to angel groups. After the closing, ELP helps its clients move to the next round of financing as the company adopts a "Build To Sell" model.
When representing angel investor groups, ELP negotiates and prepares necessary documents and efficiently accelerates the "deal speed" from term sheet to closing.
ELP has developed a network of entrepreneurs and "angel investors" in Michigan and Indiana. It has introduced start-ups to angel investor groups and has counseled companies looking for angel investors.
ELP understands the key success factors in the deal making process. Each deal is customized to meet the unique needs of the investor and the entrepreneur. From the initial presentation through the term sheet and the closing, ELP and Richard Bruder focus on helping talented entrepreneurs and enthusiastic investors come together to change the lives of consumers and businesses.
Professional services can be provided on a fixed-fee, hourly or an equity-sharing basis.
